Open-Source Licenses

Last updated: October 5, 2026

Applies to the third-party open-source software used in the Fluenxi apps.

Fluenxi is built with the help of free and open-source software. We gratefully acknowledge the developers and contributors whose work makes Fluenxi possible. This page summarises the main open-source components we use and where to find their full license notices.

1. FlorisBoard (Android keyboard base)

The Fluenxi keyboard for Android includes software from FlorisBoard, an open-source keyboard project.

Licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0.

Fluenxi has modified the FlorisBoard source code to add real-time AI translation, tone adjustment and writing tools.

2. Other open-source libraries

The Android and iOS apps also use other open-source libraries, under licenses such as Apache 2.0, MIT and BSD. A complete list, with each library’s copyright notice and full license text, is generated automatically with every build and is available in the Android app under Settings → About → Privacy policy → Third-party licenses.

This website uses the Inter, Roboto, and Noto Sans Tamil typefaces, licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.

Each library remains the property of its respective authors and contributors.
